Once the months of November and December arrive, it is time to harvest the quinces from the orchards of Grandma’s Wonderland. The jam we make from our gorgeous quinces, juicy and big enough to pull the branches close to the ground and grown with great care without any chemicals, has long been a favorite breakfast staple in the farm.
We now add a twist to Grandma’s original recipe with cinnamon, cloves and star anise. The result is a perfect pairing with both grilled meats and also desserts accompanied by Silivri’s famous buffalo clotted cream.
